Inverter with 2,500W Pure Sine-Wave Power
Published on : Sunday 08-03-2020
A powerful inverter with 2,500 watts of pure sine-wave power – a power supply as convenient as from a socket, in a 12 V or 24 V version.

Using the 12 V or 24 V direct current from the vehicle battery, inverters generate an alternating voltage of 230 V. Herth+Bess has now added two powerful inverters to its Elparts product range. Whether for passenger cars or commercial vehicles, this ensures that an independent, permanent and secure power supply is available for all manner of consumers.
The inverters feature a pure sinus-wave output (continuous output) of 2,500 watts. This unmodified output guarantees a consistent flow of power like that which would be supplied from a socket. Over a short period, the inverter can even handle a load of up to 5,000 watts (locked-rotor current/starting current of the device). A multitude of consumers can be operated accordingly: from coffee machines to flat-screen TVs, heaters, electric shavers and toothbrushes, medical devices, laser printers, monitors and even photocopiers, neon lights, large variable-speed motors and compressors. The variety of connection options is simply enormous. This makes inverters an ideal choice; not only for automotive engineering and the obvious camping applications, but also for passenger cars or HGVs. In the case of the latter, too, the number of different consumers in the driver’s cab has been steadily increasing for years.
The following are included and/or integrated with a view to product optimisation:
- Connection cable and remote control
- A multi-protection function which prevents the devices from overheating, surging and overcharging
- Two miniature fans
- Automatic shutoff in the event of low battery charge, with alarm
- Control lamp illuminates in the event of overheating or overloading, and
- Option to connect external 230 V voltage to relieve the vehicle battery.
