Standard Roller Guide with new variants & Sealing Options

According to THK, the SRG linear guide with caged roller is widely used in machine tools, especially when high rigidity and load-bearing capacity are required together with high precision. For additional enhancement, the user is now being offered the newly added ultra-long block.

As THK report, the SRG roller guide achieves its particularly high rigidity thanks to the larger number of rollers with a small diameter per row. For added rigidity and loading capacity, a new ultra-long block is now available to the user. In this way, the manufacturers explain, the rigidity can be increased up to a factor of 1.6 with a load of 20 kN.

The company points out that it offers optimal sealing options for difficult environmental conditions. These include protectors and side wipers on the block as well as plate covers for the guide rails. Long-term and reliable lubrication is also ensured by the caged roller design. The SRG series is available in the sizes 15 to 100 and with one-piece rail lengths up to 7,000 mm.
