The IIoT Thing™ easily integrates single Modbus devices into the CloudPlugs IoT platform. A Modbus Thing connects a Modbus device to the CloudPlugs IoT platform through a secure, bi-directional channel over the Internet, eliminating the need for virtual private networks, firewalls and complex network infrastructure in the field. Device data and events are sent securely to the platform and control commands are received and executed by the field device.

IIoT Things™ can be integrated with a SCADA or BMS system through the IIoT SCADA Gateway.

When coupled with the SmartPlug™, the IIoT Thing™ delivers unparalleled local intelligence, control and the ability to remotely develop and deploy new applications and services. Turn your devices into smart devices or smart Software PLCs managed and updated from the cloud.
