The energyON platform from Misurio gives access to the Internet of Things in a cost-effective, secure and scalable manner. Like in an App Store, customers of Misurio can subscribe to and use different applications.

MULTISERVICE GATEWAYS

The energyON platform supports multi-service gateways from our partner Eurotech. Many interfaces are available, such as modems for the mobile data communication, USB, serial interfaces, analog and digital inputs and outputs, Fast Ethernet port. The Gateway has an Oracle Java SE Embedded 8 Virtual Machine and Everyware ™ Software Framework (ESF), a commercial, enterprise-wide version of Eclipse Kura, the open source Java / OSGi middleware for IoT gateways that accelerates gateway development and enables remote management.

Gateways from other hardware vendors can also be connected to the energyON platform. The energyON platform also supports interfaces with SCADA and control systems.

SUPPORTED APPLIANCES

The energyON platform is used for the monitoring and control of appliances in households and industrial plants.

Currently, most supported appliances are in the field of Smart Energy. These include energy meters, batteries, PV systems, inverters, heat pumps, thermal storages and charging stations for electric vehicles. Today,  over 100 different devices are already on the ever growing list of supported devices.
