Getting Started with Bridgera Monitoring

Define a Device Type
There are no limits to the number of device types available in Bridgera Monitoring. Each device type is identified by a unique name with the following attributes:
•    Internet protocol (MQTT, TCP, etc.)
•    Data format (JSON, .csv, .txt, etc.)
•    Data Fields/Keys and Values/Types
•    Visualization Graphics
•    Performance Insights
Select a device type that exists or send us your specification and we will add it for you

Create a Digital Twin and Visualize Simulated Data
Create a Device Instance from a Device Type and simulate the data stream utilizing the Bridgera Digital Twin utility.

A Device Instance in Bridgera Monitoring will be identified by a unique ID such as a MAC Address or Serial Number. Each Device Instance can be configured to include custom alarms and geographic location in addition to adopting the attributes of its Device Type.

Bridgera Monitoring is now ready to capture and visualize device data from a virtual or real Device Instance. With Bridgera Monitoring and Bridgera Digital Twin, you will be able to simulate a data stream within minutes and then swap the Digital Twin for a real device when it becomes available.

Repeat this step for all your Device Instances or leverage Bridgera’s capability to instantiate devices instances through a bulk upload utility.

Set Up Access Control and Deploy
Bridgera Monitoring offers a flexible model for establishing authorization for accessing the platform. This model exists to support individual companies or organizations as stand-alone entities and support hierarchical models that you might see in a franchise scenario. At every level, the client administrator is able to custom brand the portal with a company logo and color pallet and segment production activity from development and demonstration efforts.
