HV Insulation Resistance Tester

Kusam-Meco has introduced a new digital high voltage Insulation Resistance Tester, Model KM 2803-IN.

This meter is used for measuring insulation resistance in EHV circuits.

This meter is microprocessor controlled with advanced safety features and can measure insulation resistance at 0.5kV, 1kV, 2.5kV, 5kV (DC) voltage with insulation resistance 0-25 G ohm, 0-50 G Ohm, 0-125 Ohm, 0-250 G Ohm range respectively (auto ranging).

The measuring accuracy is ± 5%. This meter gives audible and visual warning if external voltage is present, thereby preventing damage to the meter.

For increasing battery life it has Auto Power Off function.

The instrument has real-time bar graph to display the test voltage and voltage decay during discharge.

The meter has large LCD display. It also show test time duration (up to 99.9s) for easy comparison.

It meets safety standard IEC 1010-1 CAT III. This meter is compact and lightweight. Dimensions are 170 (L) x 120 (W) x 95 (D) and weight is 930 gm approx.

This meter’s power supply is 1.5 V x 8 batteries. The meter is supplied with test lead, shoulder belt, instruction manual and batteries.
