TACTIC Advanced Planning and Scheduling software is an on-premise solution suitable for discrete and batch industry manufacturers. The system also assists with stock and bill of material constraints, inventory piling and replenishment levels and order generation policies.
 

Functionality    
TACTIC utilizes a “What-if” tool by blending formal data such as orders, stocks, bills and capacity limits) and intuition (e.g., what-if ideas) to generate comprehensive schedules. The software provides interactive dashboards on schedules using Gantt charts, tables and comparison graphs. In addition, it tracks violations in jobs assigned and their causes, and recommends corrective actions.

TACTIC also generates purchase orders based on inventory levels and lot sizing. The “Capable-To-Promise” feature enables accurate delivery commitments based on capacity constraints, replacing earlier inaccurate “Available-To-Promise” functionality provided by existing material requirements planning (MRP) systems.
