uConnect GM-100

The uConnect GM-100 is a hand-held device, which offers customized digital measurement solutions to battery manufacturers for ‘battery formation process’.

At present, the battery parameters are measured and logged manually, involving a lot of time and effort in data conversion. Therefore, the chances of human error limits high accuracy in this process.

uConnect GM-100 is a convenient solution which reduces the time and effort needed to log the formation parameters. It also ensures high accuracy at the same time. This device is designed to be operated by a single person to complete all the monitoring procedures required during the formation process.

Handheld terminals and web portal are the main components of this solution. It is an integrated solution, which can measure DC voltage, DC current and read QR codes. All the parameters measured/monitored by the device are logged and uploaded instantaneously to the companion web portal hosted on a cloud/server. The web portal allows the user to access the data from anywhere and provides features such as alerts, reports, analytics etc.

The solution consists of two parts:

1) Handheld terminals

2) Web Portal.

• Voltage probe: The voltage probe can be used to measure upto 400V DC
• Current clamp: The current clamp can be used to measure upto 400A DC
• QR code scanner: Handheld wireless scanner can scan 1D/2D codes
• Wi-Fi enabled: The data is synced over wireless network
•  Centralized configuration: The configuration is defined in the web portal and distributed to all the terminals wirelessly
• Autosave and Auto sync: The data captured in the terminal is saved and uploaded to the Web Portal automatically
• Terminal independence: The auto sync feature enables the battery scanner to be device independent. The formations running on any tubs/bank/circuit can be monitored/measured on any of our available devices. This ensures that the operator need not depend on a single device to complete the process
• Disconnected mode: If the device is disconnected from server/network, it will store the data locally and upload the data as soon as the server/network is functional. This ensures that there is no data loss and disruption in the process
• UI: Interactive and user friendly UI
• Guided measurement: This application guides the operator to perform measurements in a gradual manner. Features such as alarms, audio and visual indications ensure reliable operation
• Data analysis: Integrated web solution provides data analytics and report generation
• Easy data tracking: Real-time tracking and historical tracking of the formation processes becomes easier with the web portal
