Gas Sensors, RTD Elements & Odor Meters

The Show Preview presents glimpses of the automation products, devices, software and technologies that would be on display at the Automation Expo 2018 (August 29-September 01, 2018 – BCEC, Goregaon, Mumbai).

Gas Sensors: TSDPL offers FIGARO, Japan make a wide range of gas sensor products for the detection of various gasses, from explosive gasses such as propane, toxic gasses such as carbon

monoxide, to air quality sensors for volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that are responsible for the sick-house syndrome. Figaro offers a diverse portfolio of sensor technologies that can be matched to the unique requirements of each application. Figaro’s products enable safety and security and are also used in applications where health and comfort are important. The types of gas sensors developed and manufactured by Figaro can generally be classified into MOS type sensors, electrochemical sensors, and catalytic combustion sensors – semiconductor type, electrochemical type, and catalytic type NDIR CO₂ sensors.

RTD Elements: Hayashi Denko, Japan make CRZ series Thin Film elements are highly stable Resistance Temperature Detectors suitable for a temperature range of -70?C to 500?C. CRZ Platinum Thin Film RTD elements have been successfully developed by making full use of the state-of-the-art high technologies such as the sputtering technology laying thin films, the ultra-fine patterning photolithography, and dry etching methods, and the resistance value adjustment by digital trimming for the accurate resistance. After trimming the element surface is coated with ceramic, so the element can withstand high voltage, vibration and shock and have high insulation resistance. Pt 500 and Pt 1000 elements are also available that are suitable for precise measurement.

Odor Meters: Handheld odor meter model OMX, is the most simplified tool for odor analysis, which enables to indicate the relative strength and odor classification numerically by comparing odor gas and purified air.
