Connection System for Digital Sensors & Digital Indicators

The Show Preview presents glimpses of the automation products, devices, software and technologies that would be on display at the Automation Expo 2018 (August 29-September 01, 2018 – BCEC, Goregaon, Mumbai).

JUMO digiLine (intelligent, bus-compatible connection system for digital sensors in liquid analysis) enables creation of sensor network by connecting wide array of sensors in various bus topologies (linear, star). It is a plug and play system, facilitating the replacement of expended sensors or the brief exchange of sensors for calibration purposes. JUMO digiLine supports up to 25 sensors connected together to a compatible, centralised sensor management console for measuring several parameters at the same time throughout the plant. 

It is truly a modular system for both individual measuring points and for setting up sensor networks for measurands like pH value, temperature, redox potential, conductivity, oxygen concentration, and turbidity.

The electronics unit can be detached and further used with a new analog sensor part making it better solution from an environmental and economic perspective. The system is flexible enough to combine with common analog sensors from other manufacturers.

JUMO diraVIEW digital indicator series is used for displaying various process variables on-site, whereas diraTRON being latest generation controller enables users to create a customised process screen in which display and input fields can be integrated.

Both devices have LCD graphic displays and are equipped with multifunction measurement inputs to connect with thermocouples, RTD temperature probes, resistance transmitter, resistance potentiometers, and standard signals voltage 0(2) to 10 V and current 0(4) to 20 mA.

Special features include fixed value and program controller, math and logic functions, ST code programming and service/operating hours counter.

JUMO diraVIEW and diraTRON are IP65 certified and are available in different installation sizes measuring from 48x24 mm (compact) to 96x96 mm (large).
