The Show Preview presents glimpses of the automation products, devices, software and technologies that would be on display at the Automation Expo 2018 (August 29-September 01, 2018 – BCEC, Goregaon, Mumbai).

Anybus X-Gateways: In the world of industrial automation, there are many different networks available. This is challenging for Device Manufacturers, Machine Builders, System Integrators and end users who need to connect different machines and networks which do not speak the same language. Anybus Gateways offer quick and easy network integration by acting as translators between industrial networks and industrial devices.

With more than 300 unique Gateway versions to choose from, there are solutions for any type of connectivity issue, whether it is network-to-network or device-to network. Anybus X-Gateways help automation engineers to easily interconnect any two networks, enabling a consistent information flow throughout the entire plant. The primary focus is fast transfer of cyclic I/O data between two networks, totally offloading the PLC from working with additional complex calculations.

The connection between the two networks is quickly set up in the Anybus Configuration Manager software which means that no programming is required. Just connect, configure and it’s done. HMS X-Gateways support various communication technologies such as Profibus, Profinet, DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, Modbus Plus, Modbus-RTU, Modbus-TCP, CC-Link, ControlNet, CANopen, CompoNet, Interbus, FIPIO, EtherCAT, FIPIO, AS-Interface, BACnet, Lonworks, IEC61850, IEC60870-5-104, FLnet, USB and Bluetooth.

Anybus Embedded solution ABCC: The new Anybus Compact Com concept consists of ready-made communication interfaces for fieldbus and industrial Ethernet in several form factors. The new Anybus CompactCom 40-series combines network flexibility and high performance with a powerful Industrial Ethernet solution. This makes the 40-series especially suitable for modern and demanding industrial applications. The high performance of the CompactCom 40-series comes from the new network processor Anybus NP40.This is a flash based, single chip network processor that includes a high-performance ARM® Cortex™-M3 and an FPGA fabric. The FPGA fabric is used to implement the various network interfaces while the ARM core runs the protocol and application stacks. The 40-series gives you access to all types of industrial networks – traditional field buses as well as industrial Ethernet – through one single development project.
