Our full line of PowerFlex® DC drive products includes PowerFlex DC digital drives, PowerFlex DC standalone regulators (SAR), and PowerFlex DC field controllers. Our DC solutions can meet the needs of a wide range of demanding applications. They are designed for DC motor applications and retrofits up to 6000 Hp / 4000 kW.

1. 200…240V: 1.2…224 kW / 1.5…300 Hp / 7…1050 A
2. 380…480V: 1.5…671 kW / 2…900 Hp / 4.1…1494 A
3. 500…600V: 37…932 kW / 50…1250 Hp / 67.5…1688 A
4. 690V: 298…1044 kW / 400…1400 Hp / 452…1582 A

• Offers both regenerative and non-regenerative configurations

DC Field Controller Features

• Offers a three-phase reversing field controller in the following ranges:

1. 60…200 VAC input: 17...575 A output
2. 230...500 VAC input: 17...575 A output

• Provides three-phase, four quadrant (reversing) DC motor or generator field control
• Features open type enclosure
• Offers integrated DPI™ functionality, flexible communication options
• Offers configuration and programming via integral LCD keypad, or software
• Offers extensive I/O for installation flexibility
• Features firmware that is Flash upgradeable
• Use for standalone DC motor field control applications or in conjunction with a PowerFlex DC Digital Drive or PowerFlex DC Standalone Regulator (SAR)
• Use in standalone mode to:

1. Provide power to a DC motor field with a fixed reference by using fixed I/O
2. Control electromagnets and other non-motor loads

• Allows you to modernize your DC motor control by using existing motor and external power bridge
• Provides a cost-effective solution for DC retrofit applications that require motor reversing
