Toshiba's rechargeable battery has a very wide application range from small-scale (KW) stationary storage for telecom towers, residential/community energy storage, etc., to automobiles and large storage (MW Scale) for power grid, smart grid, solar power, etc. Toshiba's rechargeable battery batteries can be charged in as little as 10 minutes and have excellent thermal performance, reducing or eliminating the need for battery cooling.

 

This high power charge/discharge capability with life cycles of more than 10,000 cycles (with cycle test under progress) with remaining capacity of around 90% post 10K cycles (SOC (state of charge) 0-100%@25C), makes it the most favourable battery for stationary and automobile applications.

 

Toshiba's rechargeable battery products also offer minimal capacity degradation, even after 10,000 or more charge-discharge cycles. This operational life often exceeds that of the applications in which they are used, thus eliminating the need for battery replacement and reducing the environmental impact of waste batteries.
