Benefits
N-Series NSP Briquetting Presses make use of high specific pressures enabling pressing of stable and solid briquettes and simultaneous fluid extraction. The advantages with high-density briquettes produced with the NSP briquetting presses are:
- Enhanced processing: easier handling and better metering when re-melting
- Higher efficiency: less burn-off loss during melting, hence higher metal yield
- Better logistics: reduced volume resulting in lower storage and transportation costs combined with high impact and wear resistance
Operating principle
The material to be processed is stored in a sheet metal feeding hopper with an adjustable discharge vibrating trough discharge. A chevron rubber belt conveyer transports the chips in the weighing system. When the preset weight is reached, the weighing device drops the material into the briquette die. The vertical hydraulic stamper closes the tool chamber. Then the main compression ram presses the material to a very dense and stable briquette. Then compression is complete, the die retracts and the briquette is discharged by dropping onto a discharge chute.
NSP Model 150C-70
Compact solution for machine shops and manufacturing facilities.
The material in the feed hopper is fed into the feeding chamber by a vertical rotor feeder. The stamper moves the material into the press channel, and closes the feeding chamber. Afterwards the main compression presses ram the material against the press chamber door to produce a very dense and stable briquette. Then the door opens up and the briquette is discharged by the main compression piston.
