The Assistant

The Assistant from Ulixes monitors manual production with cameras and sensors. It projects instructions when necessary directly onto the workplace, guides employees through manufacturing processes using videos, images, symbols or text instructions, and checks whether every movement is done correctly. The hardware unit with multi-sensor camera is mounted freely above the workplace. More than 100 apps are available in the app store for various tasks. The system is based on the assistance system cubu:S from Schnaithmann.

Different requirements result in a specifi­c need for functions – the App Store provides a range of features to build the required system from the large number of apps available from Ulixes and partners and other manufacturers. It is easy to develop and integrate new apps – the free

Ulixes SDK (Software Development Kit) provides the necessary tools.
