Open Channel Flow System

Pune Techtrol offers the Techtrol Open Channel Flow System – TOCF. This is an ultrasonic non?contact type flow measurement technique to measure and monitor liquid flow through primary flow elements like rectangular and V-notch weirs and Parshall flumes. The system comprises of an Ultrasonic Level Transmitter and Flow Totaliser to display instantaneous and total flow. The transmitter can be configured through keypads, to suit for flume or weir option. It calculates flow rate and sends an appropriate signal (4-20 mA) to the Flow Totaliser. The Flow Totaliser is powered through 90-270 V AC supply, provided with potential free relay output contacts, to control Pumps, Alarms and Valves to monitor flow. Retransmission (4-20 mA) output from Totaliser can be further connected to a PLC, DCS or SCADA for monitoring and recording total flow. This system is used in water and sewage treatment plants and to monitor and regulate effluents from various industries like paper and pulp, chemical and petrochemical industries, food and beverages, power plants, fertilizers and tanneries, etc. Pune Techtrol Pvt Ltd, Pune.
