The new Navitek S13 Airkos powered-air helmet presents several innovations and advantages. The Navitek headtop provides a very large and clear visor for grinding and preparation works, as well as side vision in safe shade DIN 5 polycarbonate for a full control of the close environment of the welder with a 160 degree vision. The liftable Navitek front flip incorporates the latest developments in autodarkening technology: colours restitution, contrasts enhancement, clear vision, extra-large viewing area, excellent optical classifications, four independent arc sensors and digital display of all settings. The Airkos PAPR (Powered-Air Purifying Respirator) provides particulates filtration for welding, cutting and grinding applications. The welder can select from two airflows, and is assisted by a clogged-filter alarm and by a low-battery alarm. Powered by a Lithium-ion battery, the Airkos unit offers eight to ten hours of operating time. Several options are available: Heavy-duty Lithium-ion battery, suspended comfort harness and belt extension.
