JACOB Cable Glands, Brass/Polyamide

Cable glands are mechanical ?ttings that form part of the electrical installation. The purpose of a cable gland is to seal the cutout made in Gland Plate along with Cable and retain it in the electrical equipment. Not only it should maintain the ingress protection (IP) rating of the enclosures, it should also prevent the cable from being pulled out of the equipment and from being twisted whilst connected to equipment. If it is intended for use with armoured or shielded cables, the cable gland should also provide earthing. JACOB make, Perfect Cable Glands are available in Polyamide, Nickel Plated Brass and Stainless Steel versions. Also, these are IP 68 and with all international approvals. JACOB make Glands finds an extensive usage with OEMs, machine manufacturers, renewable energy manufacturers/integrators, packaging machine manufacturers, railways, etc., just to name a few. Also available are JACOB make Cable Entry Plates (KADP). These find usage with automation integrators, process industries, packaging industries. KADP is easy to install and saves time, money and labour as compared to conventional glands.
