Weighing and Dispensing:

Their client in the pharmaceutical industry maintained a manual log of weighing and dispensing raw materials against pick lists from ERP system. Materials were manually weighed and logged into ERP. FDA requires electronic data logs with time stamp against each batch.

Xtrakt Solution

• The picklists for raw materials from ERP were pulled into Xtrakt via a shared database. A web based interface with a wall mounted display and four weighing scales was provided to each operator.
• The operator chooses a picklist and materials for weighing using this interface. The digital output from the weighing scale is available on the display. A time-stamped label is printed and the electronic record is stored in a data table (SQL) and subsequently transferred to ERP system.
