Cable Knife System, 4-70

Jokari – Germany offers a new cable knife generation: the system 4-70. Different types of cables can be stripped with just one tool. This is made possible by the unique cable bracket system. Safe working is ensured by a new blade protection mechanism. Stripping is visible through an opening in the metal bracket. Developed by professionals for professionals, this new product combines safety, ergonomics, comfort and design. Cables from 4 to 70 mm in diameter can be stripped quickly and easily with the unique cable bracket system.

Jokari has taken this into account with the newly developed blade protection mechanism. It securely covers the hooked blade at the end of the cable knife. The protection mechanism must be moved back for slitting cable sheaths with the hooked blade. Only then is the blade released. There are four cutting depth settings, depending on the cable sheath thickness.

Stripping is visible through a small opening in the metal bracket – an important criterion for the further process. The inner blade cutting depth can be adjusted via an adjustment screw with plus and minus symbols. For recurring cable sheath thicknesses, additional screw markings serve for orientation. The inner blade is interchangeable and comes complete with a spare blade stored inside the handle of the new Jokari.

Modular system: The basic model is supplied with the standard bracket size (8-28 mm Ø). Available options are 4-16 mm Ø, 27-35 mm Ø, 35-50 mm Ø and 50-70 mm Ø. The bracket can be changed via a ‘push’ window in the tool: this releases the bracket for easy changing.
