I/O with CANopen and CANopen FD

In cooperation with the partner Embedded Systems Academy (EmSA), PEAK-System has developed an I/O device with CANopen and CANopen FD connection. The PCAN- MicroMod FD DR CANopen Digital 1 has 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs and is delivered in a DIN rail housing with Phoenix screw terminal strips. The inputs comply with the PLC standard DIN EN 61131-2 and have a Type 3 characteristic; they are galvanically isolated in two groups up to 100 V from the device supply. The digital outputs on high-side switch basis can each be loaded up to 500 mA. Mechanisms such as thermal protection, short-circuit detection, and open-load detection increase the reliability of the outputs. The Node ID and bit rates are set via rotary switches. This allows the device to be set up for use in new CANopen FD and classic CANopen networks without additional configuration software.

Plug-in Connector Systems

Medium-Voltage Circuit Breaker

ABB has enlarged its market-leading portfolio of medium-voltage circuit breakers featuring the all new VD4-CS with servomotor actuation and new, space-saving vacuum interrupter technology. Digital and Analog Interface, Dual Channel

Digital communication opens up many opportunities – but only sensors that reliably deliver precise measured values offer real added value by IO-Link. Safety Coupling, SKW-KP

With the “MARKING system” app from Phoenix Contact, one can quickly call up the appropriate marking solution or create a new one for any requirement. One can order a print job in 29 languages in two different ways, without prior knowledge in this field. Select suitable marking materials quickly and intuitively with the structured search assistant. The second option is the integrated product scanner. Call up suitable marking solutions for Phoenix Contact terminal blocks using the bar code. Create the required marking directly in the application environment using the material editor. User can activate the desired printer immediately using a smart device. For traceability, one can save the required number of items including a brief description in the app and send them via e-mail or through other services. One can select from between more than 3,000 marking solutions, 11 different printing systems, and three marking technologies.
