Danfoss Power Solutions unveils new facility in Pune

The company aims to invest on increasing its product offerings in India. This facility will enhance ‘Make in India’ strategy.

Pune, January 2020 – Danfoss Power Solutions (DPS), a world-class provider of mobile hydraulics for the construction, agriculture and other off-highway vehicle markets – is all set to inaugurate their new facility in Pune.

Globally, the company has been at the fore-front of developing advanced solutions to address economic and environmental efficiency across key global mega-trends such as digitalisation, electrification, food supply, infrastructure and climate change.

In lines with the government’s vision towards ‘Make in India’, around 95 percent of all the products that are manufactured in the facility use materials and components that are made in India. The company aims to invest on increasing its product offerings in India within the next 24 months and remains firm on its mission to ensure a minimum of 50 percent localisation level for sourcing and manufacturing in their future product lines as well.
