Jochen Seidler and Jörg Kipper join VDMA Executive Board

Jochen Seidler and Jörg Kipper join the Executive Board of VDMA Integrated Assembly Solutions (IAS), look forward to productive and successful cooperation.
Frankfurt, November 18, 2019 – Jochen Seidler and Jörg Kipper have been appointed to the Executive Board of VDMA Integrated Assembly Solutions.
Jörg Kipper has been Managing Director of Festo Vertrieb GmbH & Co KG since February 2019 and succeeds Frank Notz, who has been active on the IAS Management Board for several years and joined the Festo Management Board at the beginning of the year. "As a member of the board of VDMA Integrated Assembly Solutions, I am delighted to be able to support and actively accompany topics such as OPC UA," said Kipper. "OPC UA is an important prerequisite for interoperability and future technologies. We must work together to drive Industrie 4.0 standardization forward so that we can remain competitive tomorrow.”
Jochen Seidler has been Managing Director of machine manufacturer SIM Automation GmbH in Bad Heiligenstadt since 2017. "OPC UA, young talents and specialists, AI and machine learning - the IAS sector within the VDMA is driving forward the future topics of its members. As a new member of the IAS Executive Board, I am looking forward to making my contribution," Seidler commented on his new task.
The IAS board welcomes Mr Kipper and Mr Seidler and is looking forward to a productive and successful cooperation.
