New Delhi, August 06, 2024: Knauf India, a distinguished name in the construction industry, has announced its recognition with continuous prestigious awards – the ‘Gold Award’ for its outstanding effort in energy efficiency, and the Silver for excellence in industrial safety leadership. These accolades affirm Knauf India’s commitment to sustainable and safe operations, further establishing its role as a benchmark in the industry.

At the Green Leaf Awards 2023, hosted by the Apex India Foundation, Knauf India Private Limited, Sri City, was bestowed with the ‘Gold Award’ in the Energy Efficiency category for the Gypsum Board Manufacturing Sector. This award celebrates Knauf India’s dedication to environmentally responsible manufacturing practices, focusing on producing modern building materials, plasters, and accessories with an eco-conscious approach.

In addition to this significant achievement, Knauf was awarded the SILVER Industrial Safety Leadership Award (Category-5), recognising its outstanding safety practices. The Sri City facility also received prestigious recognition from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Complementing these honours, the Knauf Khushkhera Plant earned the Gold Award-2023 from the Occupational Health, Safety & Sustainable Development Foundation at the 15th OSH Conference in Thiruvananthapuram. These awards underscore Knauf India’s unwavering commitment to safety and sustainable, profitable growth.
