Replus Engitech partners with Hero Future Energies for 250MWh BESS projects

This partnership between Replus and Hero Future Energies represents a significant step forward in India's renewable energy landscape.

Delhi, July 31, 2024: In its bid to transform the country's renewable energy space, Replus Engitech Private Limited has joined hands with Hero Future Energies to sign a Turnkey EPC Contract to design, develop, engineer, install, and commission 250MWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project across locations. This partnership between Replus and Hero Future Energies represents a significant step forward in India's renewable energy landscape, promising to enhance the stability and reliability of green power sources across multiple states.

Over the next 18 months, Replus will deploy these advanced BESS solutions projects in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat which will seamlessly integrate with existing solar and wind energy systems to meet tender conditions, enhancing the overall efficiency and sustainability of renewable energy deployments.

Expressing his enthusiasm about the partnership, Mr Hiren Pravin Shah, Executive Director and CEO of Replus, said, "We are honoured to be collaborating with a visionary company like Hero Future Energies. Replus Engitech Private Limited brings a proven track record to this project, having already deployed 28MWh of Battery Energy Storage Projects across India and overseas. These installations have enhanced green energy consumption and provided efficient alternatives to diesel generators. The company is also currently executing two BESS Microgrid projects, each of 18MWh, in Saudi Arabia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
