Innomotics expands the efficiency class IE4 motors in India with its Moves! 1LE7 series

The super-premium IE4 motors enable industries to achieve long-term efficiency goals by being energy efficient, reducing energy consumption.

Mumbai, July 09, 2024 – With the rising requirement of minimum efficiency performance standards (MEPS) globally, Innomotics has recently expanded the 1LE7-IE4 class of motor range in India to have the complete range from 1.5kW to 1000kW in 2, 4 & 6 poles as well as from 30kW to 790kW in 8 poles. These motors are classified as Super Premium Efficiency class and are now available for its customers.

Designed to be more efficient, the IE4 class of motors will support customers' sustainability initiatives through induction motor technology. The three-phase motors are the perfect fit for all safe area applications. These motors can be used directly on the mains or in combination with converters for variable-speed operation and can be used across various applications.

These motors have the highest dynamic performance, precision and efficiency, giving our customers a competitive edge as it is based on a global platform and has been a proven product. The IE4 motors offer higher efficiency at part load and are designed for the rigorous safe-area applications. With this launch, we now offer a full suite of products to fulfill the requirements of our customers across multiple sectors such as metals, paper, cement, and textiles, amongst other industries.

Key highlights of the Innomotics 1LE7 series of IE4 Motors are state-of-the-art development and production processes, in conjunction with systematic tests to ensure a long service life. The design of the motor takes into account better cooling and is built to withstand rugged usage in adverse conditions. These motors exceed the stringent requirements of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). Time for installation, commissioning and motor replacement is quick, as a result of the diagonally split metallic terminal box and dual mounting holes (wherever given in standard). With frame to output relation in line with Indian Standard (IS) 1231, the replacement of existing IE2/IE3 motors is a hassle-free process.

Additionally, these low voltage highly efficient IE4 motors allow users to save energy, lower their operating costs and reduce CO2 emissions. These motors are used in the process industry for pumps, fans, compressors, extruders, mixers, agitators, centrifuges, rollers, etc. cutting across industry verticals of Metals, Cement, Water & Wastewater, Food & Beverages, Paper, Chemical, Pharma, etc.
