JCL Infra launches bow string girder at Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh

The successful launch of a 72-mtr span Bow String Girder, at level crossing 75-A at Prayagraj, in UP is another feather in the cap of JCL Infra Ltd.
June 24, 2024 – JCL Infra Ltd, formerly & popularly known as J Sons Company Ltd, a 40 year old company based in Meerut with its corporate office in Delhi, has launched a 72-mtr span Bow String Girder, at level crossing 75-A at Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, for UP State Bridge Corporation Limited. The launching event of this bow string girder was held at Railway KM 149/10-11 on the Prayagraj-Phaphamau Rail Section between Teliyarganj to Bada Baghada on Salarori Sadak Marg in Prayagraj district, Uttar Pradesh. The cost of this project is estimated around Rs 7 crore. A two lane road over bridge project, the total span length of the bowstring girder is 72 mtr, weighing around 510MT and the launching was carried by end pulling method by electric winch. Duration for Assembly and Welding was from January 20th 2024 to May 20th 2025 and the time consumed for launching was within 150 minutes in total.
Shri Manoj Agarwal, Chief Projects Manager of Uttar Pradesh State Bridge Corporation Ltd witnessed this launching event along with Project Manager Shri Anirudh Yadav. The event was also attended by Shri A K Singh, AXEN along with Mr P K Ojha, SSE Northern Railways Divisional Office. Post-launching, the officials from Northern Railways and UPSBCL were properly felicitated by Shri C P Singh, DGM & Mr B Bhounesh of JCL Infra with utmost due diligence.
