Council of Vibration Specialists to hold INVEST23 Conference in Bangalore on November 17 and 18

INVEST23 will be held in physical mode on November 17 & 18, 2023 with a parallel session on Simulation and Testing.

October 21, 2023 – The Council of Vibration Specialists (CVS), a non-profit organisation – the first of its kind in the country exclusively on the theme of Vibration – is holding INVEST23, a conference in Bangalore on November 17 & 18.

The International Conference on Vibration Engineering, Science and Technology (INVEST 23), is the second conference of CVS and is organised by CVS – Bengaluru Chapter in Bengaluru at J N Tata Auditorium, IISc Campus. INVEST23 will be held in physical mode on November 17 & 18, 2023 with a parallel session on Simulation and Testing. The deliberations in INVEST 23 will emphasize on the thrust areas from the field of NVH and associated specialisations. The Papers orally presented in the Conference and selected by review committee will be submitted for inclusion in indexed journal/digital library of repute.

The conference committee has also instituted the Best Paper Award (open to all) and Young Researcher Award (for students) in each theme of INVEST 23 to appreciate the hard work and dedication of the engineers/researchers towards carrying out novel research and/or resolving critical industry problems. The conference will also felicitate outstanding Vibration Experts.

CVS has been formed by a few expert professionals dedicated to Vibration Science and Engineering, both from academia and industry in order to scale up the reach of this interdisciplinary specialisation.

There could be a need to address design reviews/reengineering in systems/components from the site experiences of vibration-induced flaws, to bring awareness in every industry on huge energy-savings possibilities from machines with undesired high vibration and to speed up the vibration diagnostics and prognostics mechanism to a higher level of accuracy through the effective management of vibration knowledge empowering the engineers with necessary world-class skills and theoretical inputs along with specialised certifications on Vibration.

CVS is a nonprofit, technical, scientific, and educational body, the first of its kind in India exclusively devoted to the cause of Vibration Science and Engineering, born out of the vision of a group of expert vibration professionals. It is an expert forum of Diagnostics and Prognostics Practitioners. CVS is committed to harnessing the country’s huge potential in this field by the effective management of vibration knowledge and through the empowerment of engineers with necessary world-class skills and theoretical inputs along with Certifications. 

 CVS is poised to accomplish these objectives through training and research in vibration. It emphasizes fundamental physical science, industry-focused approach, built-in reliability of vibration prone assets, risk mitigation specialisation for structure and seismic infrastructure, along with the effective use of digital technologies – IIoT, AI and ML in the realm of Industry 4.0 revolution.
