IMTMA to host Machine Tool ConnectKolhapur 2023

40 Exhibitors to converge at the Expo focusing on futuristic business

Bengaluru, September 13, 2023: Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) is all set for a two-day B2B show in Kolhapur. Machine Tool Connect Kolhapur 2023 will be held from 8 - 9 October 2023 at the Pavilion Hotel, Kolhapur, Maharashtra.

Machine Tool Connect Kolhapur 2023 is a unique model for exhibitors to promote their brand and reach out to industries in Tier 2, Tier 3 and even Tier 4 regions of India.

The expo would also enable exhibitors to gauge the needs of customers, augment their products, create awareness, meet channel partners, and explore business opportunities.

In his communication about the new initiative, Mr. Jibak Dasgupta, Director General & CEO, IMTMA said, “Machine Tool Connect Kolhapur 2023 is an initiative by IMTMA to bring technologies to the doorsteps of industries not only in and around Kolhapur, Maharashtra and the Western region but also the Northern, Southern and Eastern regions of India to trigger manufacturing growth.”

Mr Dasgupta further adds, “Kolhapur is one of the prominent industrial belts in India with the presence of industries such as agriculture implants, automobile and auto components, construction, die and mould, engineering goods, foundry, railways, textiles, and many more. Industries in and around Kolhapurcan establish links to augment their businesses.”

Formed in 1946, IMTMA is the apex body of the Indian machine tool industry and plays an important role in its development through various advocacy measures. IMTMA has supported the setting up of institutions such as the Advanced Machine Tool Testing Facility and Advanced Manufacturing Technology Development Centre and worked closely with the government to set up a first-of-its-kind machine tool park in Karnataka.

IMTMA has been at the forefront of skill development through its Technology Centres in Bengaluru, Pune and Gurugram. Its flagship show IMTEX is one of the leading global machine tool exhibitions. IMTMA also organizes seminars, summits, and regional expos to develop the manufacturing industry.
