Automation Expo 2023 set for a grand opening on August 23rd at BEC, Mumbai

Mr Vinayak Pai, Managing Director & CEO, Tata Projects Limited, will preside over the inaugural ceremony.

Mumbai, August 21, 2023 – Bigger, Better and Stronger – Automation Expo – Asias second largest and Indias biggest international exhibition of automation technologies – is all set to return for its 16th edition at the regular venue in Mumbai during August 23-26, 2023. The event this year returns to its full pre-Covid glory and will be hosted in Halls 1 and 2 of the Bombay Exhibition Centre at NEC Complex, Goregaon at Mumbai.

The Inaugural Ceremony of Automation Expo 2023 will be held on August 23, 2023 at 10 am. It will be presided over by the Chief Guest, Mr Vinayak Pai, Managing Director & CEO, Tata Projects Limited. Vinayak Pai is responsible for steering the overall strategic direction while implementing its vision, mission and long-term goals at Tata Projects. Prior to taking over the reins he was Group President – Energy and Chemical Services business of Worley which involved operations in 49 countries and 30,000 employees with a revenue of $5 billion. He was responsible for all of Worleys business in EMEA/APAC, improving the revenue and margin of the business during the tough period of the Covid pandemic. Armed with a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from College of Engineering (Pune), he is also a Post-Graduate in Management from Symbiosis, Pune and thereafter successfully pursued Executive MBA from IIT Bombays prestigious Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management.

Automation Expo 2023 will host over 800+ exhibiting companies who will be there in 2 halls spread over an area of 23000 sq.mtr. Participating countries are China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, USA, UK, Israel, Germany, Sweden, Turkey, among others.
