Cerritos, Calif., July 18, 2023 – Calnetix Technologies has announced that the company celebrated its 25th anniversary since its founding in June 1998. To mark this significant anniversary milestone, the company organised an event at the Cerritos facility in June for its employees and affiliate companies.
Starting as a small team of founders and evolving into a group of companies with numerous innovations and a large patent portfolio under its belt, Calnetix has much to celebrate. The companys high-speed technologies – permanent magnet motor generators, power electronics, and magnetic bearings – have grown over the years and led to the development of the most advanced energy-efficient systems for a wide variety of industries including defense, aerospace, motorsports, marine, power generation, medical, and others. Today, Calnetix is driving innovation from the depths of the sea to outer space.
Over the last 25 years, Calnetix leveraged its patented technologies to develop cutting-edge products and commercialise those products by creating subsidiaries that serve niche markets. Calnetix has incubated six subsidiaries, four of which have been sold or have had technology licensed to OEMs. By diversifying its markets, engaging in forward thinking, investing in emerging technologies, and offering new products, Calnetix has continually expanded its abilities to meet the needs of its customers.
We have achieved this milestone through the hard work and commitment of our employees, and the valuable support of our customers and partners, said Vatche Artinian, CEO of Calnetix. The accomplishments of our past give us confidence in our future. Our successes and our proven technologies will enable us to develop energy-efficient products for industrial, defense and aerospace applications, improving system performance and reducing total cost of ownership. Additionally, we will continue to meet the growing demand for turbomachinery solutions in a hydrogen economy.
