November 2022 – Schmalz is including the NEO 30, the first product from Binar Handling, in its web store. With its rechargeable battery, the rope balancer is mobile and independent of power or compressed air connections. The operator can adapt it ideally to his application with the help of various mechanical load handling devices.

J. Schmalz GmbH launches the NEO 30, the flexible rope balancer from Binar Handling AB, which has been part of the Schmalz family since March 2022. With the NEO 30, Schmalz also offers smaller industrial and craft businesses an ergonomic handling solution at an attractive price. The battery-powered rope lifting device does not require a separate power or compressed air connection and is quickly mounted on a crane boom or the trolley of a rail system. One battery charge is enough for 200 to 500 strokes – ideal for a days work. Operation is intuitive: sensors detect the manual forces of the person operating the machine and translate these into a speed and direction pulse. With its drive, the NEO 30 thus directly supports the lifting and lowering of loads up to a maximum of 30 kilograms.
As a load handling attachment, Schmalz optionally supplies a mechanical magnetic gripper, a load hook with spring catch, a scissor-type gripper or a flat hook gripper. This allows the customer to optimally adapt the NEO 30 to his application – whether for machine loading, for other logistical processes in the metal and electrical industry or for handling tires and rims in the automotive workshop
