Process Insights launches new Alpha Omega Instruments Series 1300 Oxygen Deficiency Monitor

The Series 1300 Oxygen Deficiency Monitors exclusive Advanced Digital Interface (ADI) offers the capability to expand the Series 1300 with up to three oxygen sensors.

Houston, TX, October 08, 2021 – Process Insights has launched the Alpha Omega Instruments Series 1300 as its premier oxygen safety monitor. Built upon the years of success with the single-sensor Series 1000, the Series 1300 Oxygen Deficiency Monitor offers all the benefits of the Series 1000, which it is replacing, with greater flexibility and improved user configurable options at a lower cost.
The Series 1300 Oxygen Deficiency Monitor's exclusive Advanced Digital Interface (ADI) offers the capability to expand the Series 1300 with up to three oxygen sensors; a local sensor and/or up to two remote sensors. The sensors featured in the Series 1300 are extended life electrochemical oxygen sensors designed with a proprietary Enhanced Electrolyte System (EES™) that extends sensor life expectancy. Users can expect sensor life well beyond five years, helping to ensure reliable and trouble-free performance.
The new Series 1300, a digitally controlled instrument with a measuring range of 0-30%, is housed in a resilient polycarbonate, wall mountable general-purpose enclosure. Oxygen values are displayed to the nearest 0.1 percent on a high contrast front panel liquid crystal display (LCD). Also included are four individually adjustable Form C alarm relays.
Designed for ease of use, the Series 1300 can be programmed to provide a maximum of nine individual alarm events and can be expanded to support up to a maximum of 8 remote optional addressable horn and strobe annunciators with a single monitor. Two scalable analog outputs are standard, as is RS-232 serial communications. Each Series 1300 includes an internally mounted audible alarm as well as visual alarm indicators.
The Series 1300 is ideal for use in environments that have closed or restricted areas containing stored or piped inert gases, so deployment of a room oxygen monitor helps ensure breathing air oxygen levels are properly maintained. This includes laboratories, industrial plants, medical facilities and food processing plants.
