CES 2021 The worlds biggest annual consumer electronics show in all digital version

The annual consumer electronics show will be an all-digital affair this time over 1000 brands will be exhibited virtually.

December 2020 – CES, the famed Consumer Electronics Show which is the Global Stage for Innovation and the most influential tech event in the world, will be staged as an all-digital event for 2021. The traditional year opening event held in early January each year is the proving ground for breakthrough technologies and global innovators. This is where the world's biggest brands do business and meet new partners, and the sharpest innovators hit the stage. Owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), CES features every aspect of the tech sector.
CES showcases companies including manufacturers, developers and suppliers of consumer technology hardware, content, technology delivery systems and more. It also includes a conference program where the world's business leaders and pioneering thinkers address the industry's most relevant issues.
The first CES took place in New York City in June 1967. Since then, thousands of products have been announced at the yearly show, including many that have transformed our lives. These include: Videocassette Recorder (VCR), 1970; Laserdisc Player, 1974; Camcorder and Compact Disc Player, 1981; Digital Audio Technology, 1990; Compact Disc – Interactive, 1991; Digital Satellite System (DSS), 1994; Digital Versatile Disk (DVD), 1996; High Definition Television (HDTV), 1998; Hard-disc VCR (PVR), 1999; Microsoft Xbox and Plasma TV, 2001; Blu-Ray DVD and HDTV PVR, 2003; 3D HDTV, 2009; Connected TV, Smart Appliances, Android Honeycomb, Ford’s Electric Focus, Motorola Atrix, Microsoft Avatar Kinect, 2011; Ultrabooks, 3D OLED, Android 4.0 Tablets, 2012; Ultra HDTV, Flexible OLED, Driverless Car Technology, 2013; 3D Printers, Sensor Technology, Curved UHD, Wearable Technologies, 2014; and 4K UHD, Virtual Reality, Unmanned Systems, 2015
CES 2021 will officially take place from Monday 11th to Thursday 14th January, a week later than the show's usual dates. A heads-up for forward planners: CES is due to return to Las Vegas from 5th to 8th January in 2022.
