Solidarity Trail is clinical testing for the COVID-19 virus to illustrate the effective method to cure. It was initially launched by the World Health Organization (WHO) and later over 100 countries participated in the trial across the world.
The Trail enables the facility to compare four treatment options against the standard of care with the checking of fighting immunity levels of relatives against the COVID-19 virus. The WHO collaborated with the global countries for enrolling patients in order to rapidly discover the results in terms of drugs slow disease progression or improve survival. Further, there is a wide possibility for the addition of more drugs based on emerging evidence.
“The randomized clinical trials could take years to rectify, while the Solidarity Trial will 80% reduce the overall time taken for rectification” – WHO

The Need for Solidarity Trail
The upsurge in the COVID-19 cases created a kiosk and disbalance in the worldwide healthcare system, which results in pandemic situations across the globe. The WHO interference brings hope for the small countries for the cure of the deadly virus and resumes life as earlier. Also, the WHO considered the need for speed and scale in the trial.
The organization intends to enroll a wide number of patients for a single randomized trial to minimize the risk of multiple small trials and their limited analysis reports. They are focused to generate strong health records to further initiate the potential treatments with the proven methods tested on the wide number of unrationalized people participated in the trial.
Hospitals are Participating in Solidarity Trail
Considering the current market, there are more than 400 hospitals from over 35 partnered countries of the WHO are working actively enrolling patients for the trail. The WHO are actively supporting over 60 countries with
• Providing WHO core protocol related to ethical and regulatory practices
• Identification of hospitals participating in the trial
• Training of staff with the help of web-based randomization and data system
• Shipment of essential trial drugs as per the demand from the partnered country
It is estimated that the growth in the participating countries would result in bringing a greater number of COVID-19 patient health reports, which assists in the research and analysis process for the vaccine trails. Also, the WHO partnered with a wide number of healthcare companies for the process of research and manufacturing of the trial drugs. Furthermore, the organization ensures the demand and supply of the web-based randomization and data system.
The Solidarity Trial witnessing a heavy investment in terms of money from the global healthcare organizations and the domestic government is creating efforts for success in the treatments of multinational Phase III-IV clinical trials in a fast most effective way. The collaboration and partnership along with the daily based talks between the leading healthcare organizations, hospital personals, and domestic government are creating are expected to bring successful vaccines and drugs for the proper treatment of deadly virus COVID-19 and removes a pandemic condition in a global market.
