Progressive Engineers (formerly Progressive Engineering) was established by Mr Nariman Mehta, a technocrat with over 25 years experience in design, development and customised solutions. Equipped with all R&D and test facilities, the in-house laboratory can conduct all required tests utilising latest equipment available and time tested quality control measures to assure reliable products such as: Torque tester; HV tester; conduction & induction heating equipment; IR tester; electrical test bench; microscope with Nikon fibre optic light; Vacuum Chamber Tester; 4½ digit multimeter; compression tester; gauss meter; vibration tester; impulse charger; moister tester; micro-ohm meter; drop tester; sound level meter; leak detector; measuring instruments; Optik Metzer shadow grapher; and refractometer.
We specialise in industrial automation and application development making use of servo motors and different PLCs (Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Siemens, B&R). We design and develop filling, capping, sealing and leak detector machines for many special applications. Our import division, where we promote electronic chemicals/consumables and special industrial spares, provides complete application level support to customers, set procedures for their applications and equipment to execute their job.

1. Mercotac Inc., USA for Mercotac rotating electrical connectors (brushless slip rings). Mercotac connectors are ideal for instrumentation, robotics, thermocouples, cable reels, strain gauges, turntables, testing and control devices, windmills, packaging equipment and heated roller packaging applications. The connector communicates between rotating PLC and stationary MMI without any disturbances and is also suitable for heated roller applications where précised temperature control can be achieved, e.g., blister pack, lamination rollers, etc. Mercotac rotating electrical connectors are also available for flameproof applications suitable for Zone 1, Gas Group I, IIA & IIB, T6.
2. MG Chemicals, Canada – A manufacturer of chemical products for the electronics industry. The range includes dusters and circuit coolers, cleaner/degreasers, flux removers, contact cleaners, protective coatings, epoxies, adhesives, RTV silicones, lubricants, EMI/RFI shielding coatings, thermal management products, prototyping supplies, and more. We also distribute related non-chemical products, such as wipes, swabs, brushes, de soldering braid, and copper clad boards.
3. DAI Inc., USA – For polyurethane resin & dispensing solutions.
4. Carmar, Taiwan – For co-ordinate & video measuring machines.
5. Rotac, Korea – For gold plated slip rings.
6. Celco Profil, Italy – For electrical manifolds, fluid couplings for air, water and oil, and a combination of two components.
