An aquaponics system is a sustainable agricultural method that combines aquaculture (raising fish) and hydroponics (growing plants without soil) in a closed-loop ecosystem. Fish waste provides nutrients for the plants, while the plants filter and purify the water, which is then recirculated back to the fish tanks. This symbiotic relationship allows for efficient and eco-friendly food production.
