Range of Products and Solutions for Warehouse Automation by Jungheinrich India.

Jungheinrich ranks among the world’s leading companies in the material handling equipment, warehousing, and material flow engineering sectors. The company is an intralogistics service and solution provider with manufacturing operations, which offers its customers a comprehensive range of forklift trucks, automation solutions, services, and consultation.
Jungheinrich India is a leading and a reliable supplier in Intralogistics. We provide solutions like VNA trucks, Logistics Interface, AGVs and WMS. These will take care of all the phases of your project – from planning and realisation to key hand-over. Whether it’s stacking and unstacking entire pallets or picking single items, the new very narrow aisle series provides you with a cost-effective solution tailored to your needs. We have further developed the number one solution for narrow aisle warehouses to equip you for mastering the current and future challenges of warehouse logistics.
Any automation solution is only as good as the interaction of its elements or how good their elements work together hand in hand for a better efficiency of your warehouse. Our Jungheinrich Automation Solutions ensures that the intelligent technology in our system and automation trucks like EKX (VNA Trucks) works together optimally with your existing Warehouse Management Systems.
The Jungheinrich Logistics Interface ensures simple connections to existing systems, enabling the efficiency-boosting optional navigation. It ensures that the EKX and the existing system are in constant communication. Orders are directly transferred to the EKX, and operators only need to use the acceleration function. Thanks to a semi-automatic approach, EKX can find the most efficient route to target positions by themselves. RFID technology makes precise tracking in narrow aisles possible. The system supports manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic operation and tracks the stacker’s location at all times with the help of warehouseNAVIGATION.
warehouseNAVIGATION
The warehouseNAVIGATION is a semi-automatic system that can be used horizontally and vertically to optimise the truck route to a destination location in an aisle. After the driver has positioned the truck in the aisle, the warehouseNAVIGATION semi-automatically drives to the destination location. The goods are semi-automatically collected or put away and simultaneously the IT system is automatically updated with the latest product status. The use of warehouseNAVIGATION helps in increasing warehouse efficiency not only by time and energy but also by route and process optimisation. Its other benefits include automatic acknowledgement of the reached destination location – the status of the transport instruction is automatically reported to the IT system, removing the time-consuming search and correction and barcode scans. There are no incorrect putaways and retrievals with complete and full transparency thanks to stock information in real-time. Operators can fully focus on putaway/retrieval tasks. It has a user-friendly interface, so any new staff member reaches the level of experienced drivers quickly.
We will individually configure the trucks that include inputs like your warehouse strategy, throughput performance and other special requirements. In this way, we ensure that the trucks will efficiently solve all the tasks in your warehouse and are equipped for the future.
Automation in intralogistics is constantly advancing. Users want solutions that are flexible – meaning modular, scalable and interface- ready.
Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) provide an automation solution for many transport assignments; using them offers numerous advantages: reliability, process safety and a high level of efficiency. They can also be used in mixed operation with manual industrial trucks or people. AGVs can also be adapted or expanded without difficulty. As a result, both interest and investment in AGVs have risen sharply in recent years. More and more companies want to tap into the optimisation potential of automating their material flow with AGVs.
But what applications are right for AGVs? What preconditions should be met for AGV use, what can be transported and is a special IT infrastructure necessary?
Automation with AGVs is suitable for companies of any size and for nearly all industries. Because an AGV is easy to integrate into existing infrastructures, it can be used flexibly in existing factory environments or in new buildings. To determine their own needs, companies should analyse the process to be automated in detail. The main application fields of AGVs are continuous transport tasks such as goods receipt or transport from production to warehouse in multi-shift or round the clock operation.
As a rule, standardised and uniform loading aids together with good load distribution and stability of the loads being transported provide favourable conditions for use of AGVs. The warehouse should also be well organised, and the floors should be in good condition.
Another aspect to consider is how the AGV will receive transport orders: via WMS or forklift control system, by ERP or PPS, via machine interface or simply manually with a button or a tablet application with system visualisation. Thus, no WMS or any other extensive IT infrastructure is necessary to use AGVs. As part of a system environment in the company, the WMS communicates with neighbouring systems via interfaces. In doing so, the position of these systems within the IT hierarchy orients itself towards the tasks and key functional aspects of the software systems involved.
Warehouse Management System

The Jungheinrich WMS addresses manual, semi or fully automated warehouses: Regular further development ensures that the WMS always remains state-of-the-art. Unique in the industry is the forward compatibility that ensures that your Jungheinrich WMS will remain compatible with new releases and upgradeable in the future. The multi-dimensional configuration model of the Jungheinrich WMS also guarantees high process precision for mapping your individual needs even with future changes in your warehouse.
Jungheinrich increases your efficiency with several order picking strategies, for example, order-oriented (single-level), item-oriented (multi-level) or parallel order picking as well as multi-order picking, thereby guiding employees around the warehouse on optimised routes. In addition to an availability check of the ordered item, the software also considers item or order specific requirements such as FIFO, batch requirements, but also quantity optimisations when calculating the optimum picking actions.
The modelling of your material flows in the Jungheinrich WMS gives you a high degree of consistent transparency. As a result, the integrated profile technology makes a significant contribution to the complete recording of all relevant information. You can schedule resources for compliance with important upcoming deadlines, while also easily identifying order backlogs at any time.
Regardless of whether you want to optimise your existing plant or plan a new one, Jungheinrich offers you scalable logistics solutions from a single source.
